Let it snow, let it snow, dipsh*t BM forget SS winter wardrobe (that kind of rhymes, right?)

So obviously not the worst thing that could happen but this sh*z really gets to me. And if my dh were the one who did this we would never hear the end of it. Picked up ss this morning from BM (aka sh*t for brains). We are expecting up to five inches of snow and it was currently flurring as I was getting him. He had no gloves, no hat, no boots and no snow pants! :jawdrop: I have repeatedly sent him home to his BM with these items. She keeps the hats and gloves and never returns them so I have to make sure I purchase additional items to keep at our home just so he has something to wear! But I flat out refuse to buy additional pants and boots! Eff that! We already paid for half of them once! And seriously, if this had been my dh she would be calling him every name in the book right now! And accusing him of neglect! It's a bunch of horsecrap and I'm just frustrated with the lack of sheer commonsense displayed by this ignorant woman! I think I'll nominate her for mother of the year.

Yea, told dh to tell her dumbass and have HER drop it off to him. We'll see if that actually happens. *insert eyeroll here*

I would have sent him right back in to her house to get them. That is completely unexceptable. BM sends SS to school in a hoodie, when it is 19 degrees outside. She "doesn't have a coat for him". Well, that's funny because he had one on when he left here on Friday... where did it go???

We just never ever send anything to BM's, SO learned that when I wouldn't purchase new underwear after repeatedly getting the kids with no underwear or socks or icky clothes and shoveling out money to send them back in nicer stuff, I put my foot down they go back in what they came in, if she or the kids asked why "that's what your mom sent you in." "That's what you sent the kids in"
They now have their own stuff here and it stays here.

I used to buy extra boots, coats & snowpants at thrift stores. And gloves from the dollar store to keep at our house since BM had to support her worthless unemployed hubby and had no money to buy skids winter clothes with the massive CS DH paid.

BM sent the boys back to us once with no shoes and old clothes after we had just gotten them new clothes. That was awesome.

I have told the boys - I know you have more to remember, living in two houses, but please try to remember these things on your own.
