I don't have twins or a skid at home but I did just have a little girl about 6 weeks ago so add that to DS who will be 3 next month and I can kind of feel your pain.

Do not turn away help unless it's from someone you don't like anyway. I was on the What to Expect board and all these people were like take the first 2-4 weeks to just you and your hunbby for bonding time. When I had DS, my brother flew in the next day (I had no family here at the time)and he and my DH did everything for first week. Then the day he left, my parents flew in and did the next week. I got 2 weeks to get myself back to as normal as I could and it was amazing.
Put your vistors to work - put up a list on the fridge of things you need done - everyone will ask you what you need - direct them to the list and let them at it.
Don't think the pediatrician will think you're crazy if you call every day - DS had colic and DH was working nights and I was about to lose my mind. I took DS to her I think evrey day for a week. She was of course more worried about me and called me every night to check on me which was a life saver.
