Dropping both my kids off at college on fri.

Wow I can't believe that both of them are in college. I really won't have either one here anymore. What am I going to do? What are we going to do with these rooms? I will be so busy getting them both packed and moved in. I have to do it by myself as dh has to work. I will be home by myself now while dh is at work. OH BOY. This sounds lonely

Aww! How far from home are they? I know my sister still came back most weekends when she went away (about 2 hours).

LOL anyone that knows me knows I don't cook. I can I just don't like too. My dh does most of the cooking. BUt I bet you're right especially my son. I'll have to see. I am very happy that they are moving forward and will take care of themselves. This will be the first time my son will be on his own so to speak. I am worried about him as he is an aspie but I have to get over that so he can function on his own.

Smile Purple, it is an adjustment, it was hard when my dd went off to college then moved to DC to finish grad school.

But the good news is, now it is ME time! You did the work not reap the benefits and rediscover that you like to do, and now want to do!

I am taking my only BS18 today as well...It will be weird in this house with just SS15 and he is so introverted and quiet...

I know I just seem a little lost right now. I'm going to very busy fri. Then after that I'll settle home and find that I'm here alone during the day. Well at least most of my house work will get done. lol

I am excited and dreading that moment here. I have a few years yet, but I can't help but feel sorry for myself when my bios are gone and skids still remain. I feel like the skids will never move out and I don't know how I am going to deal with my babies gone. *SIGH*

Good luck, chin up - time to find some hobbies you enjoy now that you have time to fill.
