SD came home from school yesterday and tried to get away with taking her meds late and thinking I hadn't noticed. I told her that I knew she hadn't taken them that morning and that it is not good for her to get off schedule like that, especially with the ADHD meds because they are stimulants and can cause her to have trouble sleeping if she takes them so late in the day. I talked to DH yesterday about SD not taking her meds and he had a talk with her about how we was trying to trust her to take them. He is giving her one more chance to remember to take them, but if she doesn't she is going to have to start reporting to him in the mornings at 0645 to take her meds before he leaves for work. I am leaving this completely between the two of them, but if I notice something is not right, I am definitely speaking up. We'll see how things go. Now if I could just get up the nerve to tell DH that I think SD should go to BM's for a month while he is deployed this summer and get him to agree.
