}:) Is it to early to think of summer break????? Yikes! I am sitting here peacefully my 3 kids are watching a movie enjoying their last night of freedom lol fh isn't back yet from his 6 hr drive of taking ss11 home and all I can think of now is summer......... Quick background I moved and I was able to find a teacher assistant job so I have holidays breaks ect. Off with kids so guess who gets to spend quality time with ss ....... You got it me and my critters!!!!!! Ss is great when dads not around but watch out when he is ,anyone else have that problem???? Btw I still can't get over mil making chicken nuggets and French fries for him today at Easter dinner lol

Oh yeah. I'm already getting into a funk over it. Ten days of Spring Break has been awful. I work from home so they are in my space 24x7 when there's no school. I hate it. I made a comment to FDH (bad idea) about dreading it and he got all defensive. I waited about 5 minutes and then said, "Hey, will you check out SD's fan in her bathroom, it went off today when she got out of the shower in the middle of a conference call I was on with a group of attorneys." The point was probably lost on him. Sad

I am worried about the Summer too. But Im more worried about my stepdaughter being with her mom for more than a couple of days at a time. My husband has custody of his daughter and it seems like when she goes to her mom for more then a couple days at a time she comes back either mad, sad or misbehaving. Her mom doesnt do shit with her! The only overnights she gets is every other weekend and the little bit of holidays she gets. We cant really trust BM to take care of her when she is with her for long periods of time. The judge said he couldnt trust her either but instead of only giving her a few days at a time or even a week at a time we rotate every 2 weeks until the summer is over. Also, Its not like the normal parenting plan where it starts in June and ends before school starts. The 2 week rotation starts the day she gets out of school and ends the weekend before school starts again. So Bm gets an EXTRA 2 weeks then normal. I am hoping SD comes back ALIVE....
