So ladies, what is spectacular about you? Don't be shy- it's time to share.

I am spectacular wife to DH. I have told him this enough, and now he actually believes it. I'd say something about being a great mom, but DD is a teenager so maybe in a few more years. I am pretty good cook too, especially with baking.

not much lately, not feeling too spectacular in my personal life.

however, i will say professionally, i kick @$$ at my job.

I love my skids! I hug them and kiss them and call them "George" My SD loves it when I read her diary and highlight the juicy parts. We play games like Spin the Bottle and Beer Pong and every once in a while if we're REALLY feeling the love, we light up a doobie and peace out!

...alas, being sarcastic is about all I'm good at Wink

I am pretty good about that stuff too but not as good as I could be. I'm guilty of being impulsive on some purchases that require me to put it on credit when I'd prefer to pay for everything with cash.

ha!

I am very good at listening to people and helping them with their problems. Yesterday at work I had three co-workers in my office at various times venting and needing feedback on various things.

I also am a good cook and baker. Not that I do that much when SDs are with us.
I'm going to maybe start baking some bread...but

I'm also good at household repairs - I've replaced almost all the outlets in our house and am now working on some broken switches. Next is replacing some light fixtures. And I'm re-painting the living room & kitchen, slowly as it's a huge area, and I'm totally exited about that as it'll look 1000x better than it does.

I'm kinda smart too and can multi-task and remember details like crazy.

I'm jealous as I am unable to contribute to household repairs beyond hanging a picture. DH is more useless with such things.

I take excellent care of my husband. In every aspect of his life }:)

I am an excellent cook. I am still sexy, despite the extra weight that my lovely and charming autoimmune disease has so generously gifted me.

I am very, very smart.

I can go beer for beer with DH and he outweighs me by 50 pounds. Is that spectacular?

Oh and I can bake!

I CAN TOO! and he outweighs me by 85 pounds! YES. that IS something spectacular!

i cant bake unless following a direct recipe, but i am an awesome cook.

My personal and professional lives are both pretty darn good and I am happy person so I must be doing something right and rocking at something! Smile

That's terrific that you love your job. Definitely needed considering what you have to put up with.

I think I'm best at creating a positive environment, being very fair, making others feel really good about themselves, and i care tons and tons about people in general. I think this is what made me a good teacher for the last 16 years.

It dosent compute I know because as far as steplife goes, I am not positive and i gave up caring. When the inlaws, bm, ss and even dh hurt you over and over, you stop caring or being positive period. My students might hurt me once until they see I respect them and really care. Then 95 percent of the time, they learn the lesson and will sometimes behave and work for me when they won't for other teachers. Yeah, none of that worked with steplife. Go figure.
