So sad - right? It started a few weeks ago BM told FDH that he didn't need to bring the boys back early on Easter Sunday - the usual drop off time of 5 p.m would be fine. FDH was excited, since that meant we got them most of the day on Easter which we spent with family of course. And I didn't really think about it until we dropped the boys off at BM's. BM and her hubby were dressed to the hilt in nice clothes so I was like good they are doing something - 20 mins later BM calls FDH to ask his some stupid questions and a hour after drop off BM txt's a picture of SS4 in the bath tub, something about a mark that was on him (kids played all weekend with other kids so yeah I am sure he got a few bumps). Apparently they didn't go any were if the kids were in the bathtub at 6 and I am guessing in bed by 7. But clearly BM and her hubby had gone some where - why wouldn't you want to take your kids?

I can't (don't want to) understand it. But whatever.

Then today we are dealing with a 'forgotten' doctor's appointment. FDH just found out about it yesterday and BM claims she didn't know either. It's Thursday! Well FDH can't get off work with such sort notice and BM says she can't either (I think she just doesn't want to take him by herself).

I told FDH that it seems to me like BM is losing interest in the boys. It's like they are more hassle for her that she wants. And while she wants everyone to think she is the world greatest mom, she also wants her 'freedom'. It seems like BM always does stuff when she doesn't have the kids but when she has them they just stay home or go to Grandma's. She has even started letting FDH call and make appointments.
