So here in the mid-west we had tornado and thunderstorm warnings this evening. Our toilet handle broke so I ran to Wal-Mart "quick" to get a new one and a couple of other things and wouldn't you know the tornado sirens go off. So the employees of Wal-mart herd all of us to the center of the store, where we have to hang out with the unwashed masses. No one could leave for over an hour. I called home several times to get updates and I even called my mother to kill time since she always has something to babble on and on about.

I guess this will teach me to check the weather before I leave the house.

No tornados hit my city and it was just starting to rain when I got out of the store and I left my sun roof open.
