O/T : IVF worked!

DH and I had another round of IVF in Feb and much to our delight it has worked! We had our viability scan today and saw a teeny,tiny heartbeat flickering away. We are both over the moon, as we are not telling anyone IRL yet so I thought I would share with my fellow Steptalk sistas Smile

Before this last cycle MIL said to me that while she really hopes it works for us, at least I know I have SS if it doesn't work (this made me want to poke my eyeballs out with a syringe, like who the hell says stuff like that??!). I get on with MIL ok but out of her 4 grand kids she does blatantly favours SS as by her own admittance she "feels sorry for him because of the kind of mom he has".

If everything goes to plan our little bundle of joy should be here beginning of Nov -fingers crossed!

rutherford I had a failed IVF cycle last year and then 3 rounds of surgery to get to this point (we have severe male factor too) so seriously thought it would never ,ever happen .

Scubed I can't stop smiling today people must think I'm an absolute loon lol! I know what you mean about the cartwheels, the happiness just keeps bubbling up inside of me!
