Following on from my previous post last month DH took SS14 to the GP to get a referral to get assessed.Jump forward some weeks later and both BM & DH are up in arms because the referral letter doesn't sound to their liking. Rather than painting SS as a poor victim of misdiagnosed ADHD which they were hoping for so they could stall him being asked to leave his current school the letter asks for an assessment and reading between the lines says SS doesn't listen to anyone and misbehaves most of the time.

Last Friday DH & BM went to look at another school on the recommendation of the current school as they have been informed if SS leaves of his own accord it will not go on his school record,they called it a "managed move". If SS doesn't go willingly his current school will take steps to have him turfed out.So off they went the parents of the year last week to view the school and apparently the current school has pushed ahead with the transfer,so much so that SS has to start at the new school next week. He is not permitted to complete this school year which ends in 3 weeks at his current school.

Obviously since the problem is SS and not the school it will be interesting to see how long he will last at the new school before the problems start again.
