ya know, it was kinda empty at my polling place, too... granted i do not live in the most concentrated place, but when dh & i went we were the only ones there (from the time we arrived to the time we left)?? a little while ago before the cut off, dh drove by and said there were a few people there, but not that many....
i think it is scary that the turn out was so lean, considering where the economy is and where we are as a country at this time..
The primary for our state was a few months ago. We had a low voter turn out too. I totally agree, more of us need to get out there and vote. And I don't care which side people are on, just get out there and be heard! All I want to do some days is shout....okay people....don't come crying to me when your city, county, state and country goes to hell in a hand basket because you didn't get off your lazy butt and vote.
