Casey was in contact with his children over the years, it was his idea for the kids to not to visit him at his house. In 2007 he signed power of attorney that gives not Kerri but the two other children control over his health care but that was nullified in 2011 and a new health care directive was giving Jean control over his health. When he got sick and couldn’t visit the kids himself, Jean allowed them to visit him for 1 hour every 3 weeks on major holidays and Casey’s birthday but someone was supposed to be present during the visitations. The other two kids complied but Kerri didn’t like that. They also heard that Jean is supposed to get a part on Housewives show. Subsequently, Kerri’s sister Julie filed for conservatorship but the judge after investigating said that Casey is well taken care of including having pedicure and manicure and there is no need for conservatorship because his wife takes good care of him. After that Jean took him to Washington State. Kerri says that her dad was mistreated by Jean but the sheriffs who located him at their friend’s house said he was doing fine. There was no sign of mistreatment. Jean says that the kids constantly were asking for money. They got $100k to $150k each year for school, cars, parking tickets, housing, travel etc. None of the money was ever repaid. The money dried up after the father got sick.
