(Warning: A venty, probably offensive post) I saw the nutjob
that spawned the nutjob, that spawned the little mistakes that call me "step-mom." It was hilarious and more entertaining than I would have thought. I've heard a lot about the woman that birthed a family of psychos/criminals and is mother to the BM of my skidlets. Apparently, she is even crazier than Psycho and is the middle aged poster child for pathetic white trash freak shows. We dropped of the skids and the part that I thought was interesting and odd was that the presence of her mother made Psycho appear to have some burst of confidence. She is so insanely stupid that she has no idea that she is extremely transparent and whenever she tries to look confident or pulled together, she just winds up looking weak and pathetic.
In my world, true confidence applies anywhere and in any situation and is not dependent on having friends or family with me to back me up. If I am confident, I am really confident. If I am insecure, I am genuinely insecure. If I was pathetic enough to rely on needing to have family with me in order to appear competent and confident as a person, I would be lucky because my family is wonderful and classy, but in Psycho's case, her whole family qualifies for the Darwin Awards. Those who aren't in jail, just haven't been caught yet and not one of them has any bit of class or intelligence. Anyway, her mother is the worst of them all and is genuinely crazy. Psycho warned us a long time ago (in some sad attempt at Mafia style intimidation) that we should not be at her house when her mom was there or "she didn't know what would happen"and we ignored her, although I would happily dial 911 if the crazy lady threatened me in any way. So, anyway, I could go on and on about her mom, but to sum her up, she is a drunk (in front of the kids at Christmas even!-once left to pick up a relative from the airport on Christmas Eve and didn't come back. Turned out she went to the bar instead and went home with a stranger for a one night stand. This is a woman in her sixties), she is violent, she has attempted suicide in front of her kids, she is a liar, and she cheated on all of her previous four husbands among other lovely character traits. She also pulled the birth control con with all four of her spawn and their fathers are either dead or in some bar somewhere. She is, lets just say, a fan of the plastic surgery and looks like a reject from the mannequin pile at a J.C. Penny circa 1987. So, altogether, this is not someone that I would even want people to know I was related to, yet in Psycho's world, it gives her strength and power to have this crazy nutjob with her!!!!!
This is not a big deal, I just thought it was kind of funny and very odd that Psycho would act so differently just because her mother was there where with normal people it would be mortifying and cause them to deny familial relationship. It was obviously fake confidence, and very sad and pathetic, but do any of you out there have a BM that acts like this? When she doesn't have one of her trashy family member with her, she is pathetically scared and insecure and won't even get out of her car to pick up the skids if she thinks she will run into me or any of my family. I would be mortified to have a mother that looked and acted like this and she seems proud of it!!!! I am mystified. The antics of white trash never fail to entertain...

You are too funny!
Your post had me rolling!
ROFL!
I love the mannequin remark. HA! Sounds like the psycho has very few (if any) role models to emulate. Which if the BM is like that, that would explain psycho's behavior. Ahhhhh, the joys of being a SM. I don't know anyone who is like that now, but I did in my past and yes, it's just pathetic. The next time she won't come out of the house, walk psycho to the door, ring, and when BM opens it up, give her a direct stare and start a conversation or ask a question and watch her squirm. Should be good for a laugh or two.
I liked that post....
made me laugh!
Thanks Girls!
Thank God for you all. If we can laugh about this stuff, we can survive it!

My favorite part was
'if they are not in jail, they just haven't been caught yet'-!!! LOL.
I hear ya. In my case, BM takes after HER crazy BM, and I am afraid SD is next :(. But it is nice to get a giggle out of your depiction!!
