SD11 started bringing her cell phone regularly since New Years. DH said ok to it then so that she can wish her friends Happy New Year, now it's attached to her with super glue.

I need to vent, I feel so spied on. I'm trying so hard not to vent to DH because he is so stressed out with other things.

Things that bother me:
1. DH now he regularly tells her to text her mum messages from him, e.g. "on my way to drop them". This may be ok, but DH never bothers to actually check what she texted her mom, and I have personally witnessed that a "Text your mum and tell her I'm on my way" turned into a long back and forth text conversation with BM. I was sitting right next to SD and she was shielding the screen from me though. And she was going to see her mum in 10 mins!

2. As soon as I wake up and come outside, SD is there texting in secret as if reporting my every move to BM. She does it when her dad is not home, and if he is home, she hides and does it.

3. This same girl, who would pick up my or her father's phone if it was lying around in the open and fool around with it, guards HER phone like if it was gold! It's in a purse that goes everywhere with her. And, it's on silent for calls and texts. So so sneaky. What does she have to hide?????

4. DH seems fine with all of this. SD's sneaky behavior with phone, he doesn't even notice it. Does he ever think to just check the phone to see what she's up to, which, as a parent, he has every right to? Nope. Does it matter to him if she reports stuff that goes on in our house to BM, apparently not.

5. When SD is with BM for the week, she hardly ever texts her dad, and almost never calls.
