Hey guys,it's been a long time since I last posted, but I have been on here most days keeping up to date with everyone's 'step' situations, especially over the festive period!
Well, an update from me I guess.
My most recent circumstances regarding the step drama,is that, unfortunately, SD is no longer welcome in my home. I didn't reach this decision lightly, but, after yet another secret call to my DH, she decdied to up the anti, by proceeding to speak negatively about me, and telling some fibs,.....that was it for me, I do not like lies, and, by the sheer fact that she seemed determined to cause a wedge,even though there has been no contact between us for 18 months,I made the decision that, she can bad mouth me all she likes to DH,I am simply implementing 'damage control',.....I can't control what she thinks and says, but I can control the way it impacts on my life,so, that's it,I am DONE!
So, as usual, DH was invited to SD's house for a meal to meet her new partner,and surprise surprise, she then brings the subject up yet again,and all three of them then discuss the situation in depth,........my DH failed to see how inappropriate this was,or, that he should have at least told SD that he would be prepared to listen to her sound off in private, but, nope,...he sat there,with SD,and with her new partner, and proceeded to have a conversation about ,ME, ........nice.
SD has gone from putting the phone down on DH (when informed that her behaviour towards me over the years has been mean), to, more recently, denying all the slights, the exclusions, the passive aggressive gestures,and instead,claims she has no idea why I would be offended because she hasn't done anything wrong,..........whatever.
Just a quick update, I will post a more in depth blog over the next few days as I am super busy at the moment, but basically,....I no longer care what any of them think anymore,I really am done,.....D.O.N.E!!!!!
