Today was the last day of school for bs15 but ss16 goes until tues. I am not working morning shift until wed! So dh has to get his hiney out of bed and take him. Huh! I'm sure he will be laying there in the morning too sick to get up, and I will feel bad and end up taking ss but the thought that today was the last day to drive ss into school was almost worth a bottle of wine. Hmmmm, speaking of which where did I set my glass down?! Biggrin

Right on cue...

Sleeping soundly and 15 minutes ago DH shakes me and says, when are you getting up?

There are days when I am absolutely sure that DH has no idea how to parent a kid. But then most days I remember he has cancer and his brain probably isn't working right. *sigh*

Last night I had a 2 hour visit with bs15. We sat on his bed and talked. This hasn't happened in over a year. He told me he thinks ss16 avoids me, and wonders why he even wants to live here. ( we also talked about a lot of things and laughed and even shed a couple tears. it was good to remember his growing up years and enjoy the moment cuz I knooooooww he will not be wanting mama to sit on his bed for much longer!! and he's my youngest so I have to enjoy it while it lasts)

yes Shook, he's always been my sweet kid that never had to be spanked or scolded, he just grew up so easily. I KNOW, that could mean trouble, but it doesn't seem to be so far. He's also smart and insightful! I'm pretty darn proud. It seems at times that skids have totally ruined being able to enjoy my bios. Know what I mean?

Totally know what you mean. It's like bad behavior gets more attention from everybody. But then so does BM. Learned trait. Just want this over soon.
