DH & I have 3 dogs. I've come to LOVE anything that smells better than dogs.

I've found very few candles that get my excited. They all smell so good when my nose is inches above the jar, but the fragrance just doesn't carry very far when they burn.

For several years I've seen the Scentsy vendors at craft shows, but struggle with the idea of spending the money on something else gadget-y, so I've never given it a second thought.

Does anyone have opinions regarding Scentsy products? I ask because I'm online looking at it, but obviously don't have the access to smell any of it.

Which scent(s) tickle your fancy?

My whole family has those wax warmer/burners from Walmart. Better Homes/Garden and Febreeze has them. They work great to keep a room smelling good. I got Febreeze ones for 10 bucks and you can use any brand of wax scents in them.

I have had many cats, kittens and dogs in the house and I can smell the scent over the carpet smell much better than any candle I have ever had.

I have some that my DH got for free. I like them (am at work and can't think of the scents I have). I do not use their warmer thingy, I use candle warmers (electric) and buy my own glass jars (dollar stores, thrift stores, baby food jars).

I also use the candle warmers for candles, instead of lighting them.

I've always liked the room sprays from B&B Works. A little bit goes a long way. I saw that Scentsy has them & they have more flavors to choose from, but didn't want to pay $8 for a bottle of spray if they don't compare.

I bought a warmer and the wax at Walmart. The BEST one is Mandrin Orange. And it last a long time.

My friends DD sells sentsy so I buy stuff periodically from her, just because I love her. But to me...the walmart wax is much better than the scentsy.

My MIL got me one of those wax burners that has a light bulb to heat the wax. I love it since I don't have to worry about flames. I have found that the cheap wax cubes that I can get in the food store, or some Target brand wax cubes don't have as strong a scent as the Better Homes ones I ordered from Amazon. MIL gave me some home-made ones from the store where she bought the burner, but it's too far away to go for refills for me. Boo.

I also use Yankee Candle scented oils in my boys' rooms, and just a regular Yankee Candle by my fire place (the smell of the fireplace is fine when it's in use, but when the wind blows the wrong way during the day...no thanks!)

Some of the Scentsy flavors are a lot weaker than others. I have a few that are pretty fragrant but I don't have pets.

I don't have a wax warmer.

I bought their fondue warmer though. Hot dame.....smoked cheddar cheese dipped in melted dark chocolate.

Don't question until you taste it.........

I LOVE anything spicy. Cinnamon, clove, etc. They seem to carry the strongest scent. I don't typically go for the foodie smells...cakes, cookies, etc. However, MIL did turn me on to one candle she found at Kirklands. The brand is Cobblestone Candle & the scent is Vanilla Brown Sugar.

Once the candle has burned all it can burn, I scrape the leftover wax into a jar to use in my tart warmer.

My go-to is one from Walmart. It's Mainstays brand, Mulled Cider scent.

Over time, those do carry through the room, but they take awhile. I'd really prefer something strong, quick, & without the flame.

Not sure what scentsy is but I just spent $150 on Bath and Body Works candles and wall plug in's. My fave this year is Frosted Cranberry. 3 wick candles 2/$22 and the scent carries throughout the main floor atleast. The wall plug in's are strong as well. We usually end up taking them out of the outlet after a day or two and plugging them in a few days later. Those are cheap on sale as well- if you order onlline and can't smell the scent stick to clean linen, fresh cotton, or refresher scents. Lavender vanilla smells great too Smile
