I Hope She's This Dumb
Dh got a letter from BM's attorney requesting his new physical address. She is of course entitled to know where he lives and where her children stay but has never in the 6 years they've been divorced bothered to care.
She has been bitching about not having enough money lately but not only does she get more than a reasonable amount each month, she just fired her $1500/month nanny and bought SD11 an iPhone for no reason. Because of her bitching I am thinking that she is planning on serving DH to appear in court to discuss a CS modification.
Ordinarily I would be annoyed that this greedy B**** is trying to go after more money, but this is laughable to me. If she serves DH for more CS, DH will file a motion to obtain custody of SD9, who has been living with BM's mother since the beginning of this month and CS for her. Not only that, our baby is due in a little over 3 months, meaning that the courts would have to take into account our new child that DH will also have to support in their standard calculations. So if BM wants DH's new address, I say bring it. I HOPE she is stupid enough to go after more CS.

Every state is different...careful because if baby is born after court, they might not give him credit...thus the reasonshe is trying to do it now...sigh...freaking women!!!

It's in the court order that she has a right to know what his address is upon request so we really can't not comply. We are actually in a temporary home right now since we are renting and plan on moving elsewhere in the near future but do not know where yet so she can't do too much damage with the information for very long. I just don't know why else she would want it unless she is planning on coming to our house to stalk us. DH does all pick ups and drop offs so she never has reason to come to our home. Plus we live over an hour away from her. She has lived over an hour away from DH ever since she left him so for her to drop by would be extremely unlikely.

Either way, she sent one of her daughters to live with her mother without DH's consent. To go for an increase in CS for a child who is not even in your custody is dumb. DH has already contacted his attorney to get the ball rolling on getting custody of SD9 since we found out she is living with grandma and enrolled in the school in grandma's zone. BM's latest antic is bribing SD9 to come back to live with her with an iPhone as well. Fortunately, SD9 is smarter than that and knows that living with her mother is nothing but alcohol-induced drama. If we could we would just tell BM to send her to us, but BM would never agree to that since that would mean losing her hefty CS check.

My BF's ex is the same way - spends all her CS (not to mention her Baby Bonus AND disability money for SS - well over $3000 a month) on stupid useless material things, then complains that she's broke by the end of the month...AND she tries to get MORE money from my BF, who had to take a pay cut when the family business burnt down a few years back! She never really cared where we lived as long as she was able to get rid of the kids every other weekend. In the middle of all this, her oldest daughter lives with her maternal grandfather, who sees NONE of the CS for her so essentially, BM is getting paid for THREE kids when she only has physical custody of TWO :S BF and I can't handle all the kids PLUS our 2 bio kids, so we just let it go. BUT the moment she tries to take BF to court, then he's going to file a motion to 1) lower CS and 2) cut off the daughter who's living with her grandfather (she is not his bio daughter and she chooses not to come over with the other 2, so we haven't seen her since Aug 2010)...As smart as these exes think they are, they really ARE that stupid!
