Nooooo! Two skid weekends in a row :(
Apparently the visitation schedule got screwed up somehow over the holidays and now we have the SD's this weekend as well. After the chaos and the fighting of this past weekend I don't know if I can take it. On top of it all, a couple weeks ago BM sent SD9 to live with her grandmother an additional hour away (BM lives 1 hour away, Grandma 2 hours away) and I just KNOW that my pushover DH is going to end up driving all the way over there to pick her up and drop her off even though it was BM's decision to send her there with no input from DH.
I am really hoping our new rules will make this weekend easier than last, but I am out of town on business so rules #1 and #2 are already down the toilet. It's amazing how much I miss wine.

Been there. Just got through 3 weekends in a row.

I had SD16 for 1 month last month (and not just weekends)...I KNOW WHAT YOUR FEELING!!!!!!!
Let's see, here are some of
Let's see, here are some of the common responses I get when I ask this very same question:
"I don't want to hear her complain." (So you would rather hear me, who you live with, complain and nag every time you give in?)
"I don't want to deal with her." (Um, then you shouldn't have procreated with her.)
"She has to work." (Oh that's right. I forgot she claims teachers work 12 hours a day everyday and you only work...oh wait, you're a CPA and really do work 12 hours a day.)
"I don't want to piss her off and then I won't be able to see the kids." (Are we talking about the same BM who pawns off her children to the first available set of open arms???)
I actually asked if he was going to pick up SD from grandma's and he said "I'll ASK BM if she can pick her up and take her to her house." Uh no. You don't ask. You tell.
