Chef isn't getting hired until the 23rd of this month (SIGH!!!!). Yep, one of the larger companies I had eyed for him has NOT called him ONCE yet!! IOW, NO one is knocking down his door to hire him like he had predicted.

In fact he had to go through a second interview for the one horse job! This must come as a COMPLETE surprise as he has never had to go looking for employment in the 2nd half of his forties and in a VERY bad economy!! I hope this is a WAKE UP CALL that he can no longer just quit his job when he feels like it. Two weeks of no pay to boot!! I'm sure CSEU is gonna like THAT!

Court update:

The Girhippo didn't show as it was the "final" decree and she was the respondent. Her slovenly attorney showed. Chef's attorney was ill so he was assigned a young pinch hitter. . .who confused COUNTIES and showed up at the wrong county court (ours instead of the next county over where the Girhippo resides). Anyway they conferenced by batphone. The attorney made it sound that the Girhippo was in a "generous mood" and won't pursue medical costs (she gets med insurance for practically nothing working as a county CPS/Foster care worker).

The fact is:

1. she's been collecting extra CS for daycare expenses that she hasn't used in well over 5 years

2. she never said anything about Pumpkinhead (OSS18) moving out--she would have just kept on collecting had I not found out through FB

3. she received countless overpayments over the past ten years

4. this REALLY should have been complete Constructive Emancipation by Conduct due to the EXTREME PAS job she did on all three children and the fact that all three skids haven't said "boo" to us for well over five years.

5. she got to claim two kids for the past ten years instead of rotating 2/1/2/1 as is commonly done--leaving Chef to claim the oldest only.

So, in light of all that, Chef's attorney went for emancipation for Pumpkinhead although NYS says CS goes to 21; the mediation agreement says that if the kid moves out of the custodial house then it's emancipation time.

Chef's CS has been reduced to two skid level which is 25% of his gross income with no add ons. I am also sending the 8332 forms for her to sign so that Chef can claim Dominatrix (SD16) for 2014-2016 and Prince Hygiene (YSS12) for years 2017 and 2019 according to the mediation agreement that both Chef and the Girhippo signed back in January of 2005. And as is NORMALLY done.

Chef actually THANKED me honestly after giving me SUCH.A.HARD.TIME about him enforcing the tax claiming issue and going to court in general. He was more than willing to sacrifice his and my financial state to "keep the BM's mouth shut." Uh NO WAY!!!
