O/T Microblading
I'm thinking of getting my eyebrows microbladed; I've scouted out a reputable technician who has great reviews. Recently I've treated myself to laser treatmens of the hands. I've always been very rough on my hands and they have been showing it. I'm on my 2nd laser treatment and going for a 3rd round in a few weeks.
Has anyone here opted to get their eyebrows microbladed and if so what was your experience?

I'm probably in the minority
I'm probably in the minority here but I think it looks ridiculous. I wish people would leave their eyebrows alone. Sure, pluck them to even them out and keep your face from looking like a bushman, but the microblading and drawing them on and such just looks fake and stupid to me. I've seen pics of people that have had it done and they actually look SUPER ridiculous for a week or more because of the redness and such that comes along with it. I've heard it's quite painful too. To each thier own, but I would never do it!
Well As I get older
my eyebrows are thinning. I've heard pros and cons about it so it pays to research.
Careful
Be careful not to overdo..you don't want to look like Groucho Marx.....
Go with eyebrow powder
IMO it looks more natural if eyebrows are thinning. Especially on older (but wiser) women.
I was hoping
to forego long makeup sessions; thus the microblading. I have maybe 20 to get ready in the mornings and that includes showering
I find microblading looks
I find microblading looks really fake. I buy these dye gel pens that colour my brows in roughly half a minute. They’re from Avon.
Glad to hear you're spending
Glad to hear you're spending some money on treating yourself. You deserve it!
I use maybelline new york eye
I use maybelline new york eye studio brow define and fill duo. It has a brow pencil on one end and a small foam tip on the other end that has powder pressed in the cap. I just swipe a bit of the fill powder and get a nice subtle defined brow vs my mousey blond/brown thinning brows. It isn't too defined since I rarely use the pencil.. more of a natural look, but you could certainly sharpen things if you used the pencil too. Honestly, it takes almost zero time since I am just following my natural brow and can do it in one swipe per brow most days.
I would be concerned about any permanent makeup because it may ultimately not be in fashion...
