The Plot Thickens--Girhippo's New House

So I found out that the new house is only in the Girhippo's name and not StepDaddyBigBuck's.   Which is odd because the 1st house they bought shortly after they got married had both of their names on the deed.   She had recently filed bankruptcy at the time due to her failed business venture and probably needed SDBB's help to qualify for a mortgage.

There are no recent posts on social media from SDBB...only the Girippo  commenting on her new deck.   The Gir's profile picture on social media has been only of the skids with StepDaddyBigBucks nowhere in sight for quite sometime.

Weird.

Do you think they've divorced?  I hope step issues didnt do them in.  Lol.

Hmm interesting, maybe with CS getting ready to end she's lookng for another source of income in the way or spousal and now she can be free of SDBB.

I'm curious now, maybe I should look up BMs house and see if her parents bought it for her or if she bought it with her husband. Public records are interesting aren't they!

Edit: yep as I suspected the house is in BMs name only even though she moved there after marrying her current husband.

BM's parents bought her a house several years after she and DH divorced. BM couldn't qualify for a mortgage due to $50K in unpaid tax debt....which I'm sure she blamed on DH (to her parents), but she's a CPA and the unpaid taxes were for her "business"...she didn't file any taxes for 3 years, despite telling DH that they had been filed. Several years after they purchased it, they "gifted" it to BM and her DH at the time (now ex husband #2). Ex husband #2 gave up his stake in the house due to a car BM was supposedly still paying for, but now one SKid has that car, which supposedly can't be sold due to $17K in unpaid tax debt. Some people just can't get out of their own way...

Just looked up BM's property record and ex husband #2 is still listed as an owner...hope he takes full advantage of that whenever she decides to sell the house.
