Forty something Girhippo's auntie and her flav of the month remind OSS (19.5) that Insane Clown Posse will be in concert. OSS writes "I really really really want to go but I've been taking a lot of time off work lately and I need the money."

Umm how do you "take a lot of time off" of a part time video game store gig in this economy and continue to keep your job--or live for that matter?! One can only speculate he's now living with the Girhippo's mom.

When I was stb 20, I was married, working a full time job in the service industry, paying rent, bills, etc. and always looking for additional part time jobs. I would never, ever, ever DREAM of "taking a lot of time off."

OSS used to complain he was SOOOOOOOOO BUSY going to high school and having a 2 hour weekend job. REALLY??? I had 21 AP credits in 3 years of high school and still had two part time jobs. Plus I was expected to go to a very labour intensive church on the weekends and throughout the week.
