Another trip to A&E for SS4 and his older brother whos about 8 or 9 I think. After DH hitting his head against a brick wall with police and social services they finally took notice and paid BM an unplanned visit. We got a phonecall saying 'marks' had been found on both boys and they wer being taken upto be seen by paeditrics. They said it looked as if they wer going to remove custody from BM so would we take him if it came to it? We said yes and they said they would get back to us when they had been seen. 2hrs later we get a phonecall to say they are happy the marks wer caused accidently and both boys wer being sent home with their mother as they did not appear to be in any immediate danger!! How many 'accidents' does a 4yr old have to get in before someone takes notice? in the past 12 months he has had 3 head injuries, swallowed a bottle of calpol, scaulded by boiling water which has left him with a huge scar, lacerated his hand whilst playing...with a knife!!!, :jawdrop: and about 6 serious burns from the iron (see previous blogs) all deemed 'accidents' by social services!! hes FOUR!!! Every one of those injuries was in his mothers care. Anyone else experienced anything like this? I kno Social are busy but come on!!
This was at the weekend and they said someone would come to see us this week to discuss how to move foward... today is thursday and we have heard nothing. Why are they so lax!!!
