Two More Weekends to Go!

So - don't mean to brag but...

Was just looking over the calendar and planning my next month and a half and realized...

We have YSD this weekend. Then on the weekend of the 28th, when I will be out of town. Then we have her one weekend in May and then visitation is officially over!!!

I'm so ecstatic thinking about it. Two more weekends with that big greasy lout draping herself all over my stuff. Woot, woot! 

Well...that's the good news. The bad news is that she's majorly messed up this college planning and pitching it to her parents in a way that sells it to them...so it looks like she'll be in town for at least a year after graduation. Was looking forward to her being 4 hours away...

I agree with lieutenant dad give it a few months and see how things are. You may feel like things are better.

For now just enjoy that you only have 2 more weekends to go! This is a big deal!

You are so lucky!!!! SD officially turns 18 in one more skid visation weekend. I tried planning something for the end of summer and DH is still going, well the kidS may come visit that weekend. No. Should be kid. Not kids. He has no intentions of not doing visitation. Last time she was over she mentioned about how she would be coming more often!!! Grrrr! Papers mean nothing!!!

My DH was/is the same way. SS came for his regular visitation for over 6 months after he turned 18, and it drove me crazy. Eventually, that slowed down to once a month or so and then it stopped altogether...and then he got his act together and got into a college/training program across the state...so we see him 4-5 times a year at most. Woot! 

YSD told DH in January that she doesn't plan to continue visitation after she turns 18...otherwise I'm sure he'd assume that it would continue. Now that she's not going to college right away and, instead, staying in town...I do worry she will want to keep coming over. But maybe not, since she said she was going to stop rather than coming through the summer. We shall see.

She may stop coming.  I thought once SS turned 18 he would stop but he is still like a small child and texts saying....Can I stayyyyyy Daddddyyyy.   

Makes me want to vomit.
