Sweetness!
Just had a call from SD (she was on morning break at school) telling me to look in my bedside cabinet ..... she had left a chocolate bar for me to say thank you for looking after her when she was sick. And she is super excited about some careers thing going on at school and is bringing home lots of information for me and her dad to look at. I love that she is starting to believe that she can do more and learn and achieve!
Love that she remembered my favourite chocolate bar and even spent her pocket money on it!

I love chocolate! If I had
I love chocolate! If I had found it earlier it would have been breakfast .....
It was nice that she rang me (her dad is at work) and she said she knew I would be excited for her about the careers stuff.
Awe that's sweet. I'm glad
Awe that's sweet. I'm glad this was my first read for the day.
It made me smile! I do daft
It made me smile! I do daft things like that for them but it is nice to be surprised too!
I am so jealous of your sd!
I am so jealous of your sd! You have such a great relationship!
I would love that but sadly for the moment it is not to be!
You and your partner keep doing what you are doing
I think I have just been
I think I have just been really lucky. So far anyway as I know it could all change!
SS is a sweet boy too - really appreciative of little things like a new cushion and photographs on his wall. He ran down to give me a big hug when I surprised him with a new duvet cover set on his bed.
The kids are here tonight and all weekend (the plan so far anyway) so this week SD has been here Sunday night, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and tonight and SS has been here Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and tonight and they always behave better the longer they are here.
Or "really? You'd do that for
Or "really? You'd do that for me?" like getting her favourite juice is such hard work.
