Does ROFR mean parents cannot give permission for their child to attend an activity without the parent being present?
FDH had SS10 this past weekend. SS10 wanted to go to a community event that my sister was taking BS14 to. FDH did not want to go but allowed ss10 to go with my sister. BM freaked and said SS10 is not allowed to spend time with anyone other than FDH due to ROFR.
They have joint custody with an exactly 50% parenting time split. BM is primary residential because SS10 goes to school in the district by her house.
Does ROFR mean child is not allowed to do any activity without the parent being there?
BM allows SS10 to visit friends and relatives on her side without asking FDH if he wants to take him. I think she's just nuts but I thought I'd ask you guys what you think.

I would say no. Ignore her rantings.
ROFR would only apply if DH
ROFR would only apply if DH had to work or was unable to care for SD, and that was the reason she spent the time with someone else.
She's nuts .. ignore her.
