J-Lo and Marc finalize divorce- article with comments- interesting

Not that I care about J-Lo or Marc... but I did read the article and I found the comments interesting. I only read a few of the comments and the 2 below really stood out to me.

I know a girl that was married twice to men with money and she divorced them both and got big child support payments and settlements. She built this big expensive home and when I ask her how she could afford it she said laughing, "I married well and they paid for it. Plus I get a lot of child support." Her kids had nice things but in no way did it cost what she received. She drove an expensive car, had expensive clothes, took nice vacations. She was only married 5 years total to both men. How is that fair? Same for Marc, $26800. a month?!? Please, that is ridiculous!

While most of you are harping on the financial aspects of the story. I'm more concerned with the unequal treatment of Marc Anthony by the court. Why does he only get the kids 7 days a month and she gets primary custody? Why can't they split the time equally? Also, why must the nannies be present when he has his kids? What kind of horsepuckey is that? Wow. If neither has to pay spousal or financial child support which basically make everything equal why isn't he allowed equal access to their children. WOW. Couldn't have been me.

I don't know, there is so

I don't know, there is so little information in the article it's difficult to tell what is fair. When it comes to celebrity divorces, they are so different from normal people. These people like such lavish lifestyles, maybe the 7 days a month is something he agreed to because of where he will be traveling, the kids school etc. Maybe he got hosed. If no CS or spousal support is being exchanged in any way, I have a hard time believing that he fought for more time and lost.

IMO, I feel bad for these kids because while the parents both agreed to try and keep them out of the spotlight, JLO is sort of notorious for having a revolving door of men. Hopefully the nannies being present all of the time is actually beneficial.

The purpose of me posting

The purpose of me posting this was more the online comments people posted.

First comment talking about a BM building a huge house and not working because she was living off of her child support.

Second comment talking about how the dad (Marc) didnt get 50/50 of the kids, etc

Just 2 topics that we talk about often on here.
