BM free weekend...but will she ever really go away?

Snarky's picture

No interruptions, verbiage or otherwise, regarding BM after the long discussion DH and I had on Friday about keeping her negativity out of our house. SK's mentioned BM a few times, and we were able to direct the conversation towards them in a positive way, and it worked out perfectly!

My questions are, will this woman ever move on? Will I ever really move on? Why have I let her bother me so much that it ruins my day? Wish there was a step-parenting class out there to give people the tools necessary to handle all these situations we discuss on this board.

Ever. She's so controlling, and even when Blabb is long gone from our lives, BM will still call and try to control DH.

I can see it now. 30 years down the road, BM will still be calling DH about how awful her day has been... or how her toilet is clogged up and she wants him to come down to fix it.

After 9 years, I am convinced that Moo Cow will never go away. I know how you feel though just when I think she has moved on she pops back in for her surprise buush*t. If you figure out a way to keep her out!! PLEASE let me know!!
