Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team

I was a pregnant teen. I had
I was a pregnant teen.
I had my son when I was 16 years old.
We have walked it all, together. I've been the best mother I could to him. And I've done anything I could to protect him and to always keep him safe. I'm a damn good mom, and I was a teen when I had him.
Let's don't be to quick to judge. Some of these teen moms may end up being a really good mom.
One of my most vivid memories of my son being a baby is that I couldn't wait to wake up. I would go to sleep thinking about him and I couldn't wait to wake up to see him again. I would RUN to his room, sometimes wake him from his sleep........just to see him and to kiss him. He had a spot on his face that I adored, it was below his bottom lip above his chin.........I would kiss that same spot over and over and smell his baby breath. I so adored that child.
Just because you're a teen mom doesn't make you a bad one.
I would echo some of this
I would echo some of this sentiment from my experience.
To every thing there is a season.
I never said all teen moms
I never said all teen moms were bad...but a teen drop out mom that we have to support is ridiculous...especially when a teen becomes a mom because of lack of parental control...sigh...
I am dealing with a pregnant
I am dealing with a pregnant teen SD-17 and it's a nightmare
i have a teen sd18. she had
i have a teen sd18. she had miscarriage at 16. that wouldn't be that bad if she didn't have the maturity level of a 14 year old.
