I have been lurking on this site for a bit and have finally decided to register and participate. I am experiencing lots of stress related to my FDH, FSD and BM. More stress is the last thing I need in my life so I'm glad I have a place to vent and share.

There are SOOOO many genuinely good people on this site that will give their support, GREAT ADVICE and even just lend an ear for you to vent when needed.

I am engaged to my FDH (been together for 7+ years) and have FSD16.5 & FSS13 - I am SO glad I found StepTalk! It has literally saved my relationship with FDH, not to mention my sanity!!!

I hope you will get as much out of this site as we all do - it's a WONDERFUL place!! Such an amazing feeling when you realize that there are other people out there that go through the exact same things you do - they GET IT, they just do! It helps you realize that you're NOT CRAZY after all!!! LOL!!

Welcome, Kat! I've only just joined this week too.. I wrote one giant blog post to kind of sum everything up, and it REALLY helped me relieve some of my stress I have due to being a stepparent. Even reading other people's stories are comforting, because it reminds me that I am not alone in this conquest that will take at least 15 more years! Good luck to you, and I hope you find solace in typing out your stressors. Smile
