Today SS4 counted himself as one of my own... it was sooo endearingly cute. Happy moment for this stepmomma!!

As the story progressed, SS4 asked me how there are so many people in the world. To which I responded because everyone keeps having lots of kids, and those kids have kids of their own, and so on and so on. He said but theres some girls who dont have any kids. I agreed and said but theres some who have lots of kids. Every woman is different, and some dont have any kids and some have lots. Like your titi- how many does she have?
SS4: Oh, she has 3. Ethan, Christian and i dont know the babys name.
ME: And how many does your mom have?
SS4: 1
ME: who?
SS4: me.
ME: And how many do I have?
SS4: 2.
ME: and who are they?
SS4: BD and me.

at first I was confused when he said 2 thinking he was spacing out and forgot who i asked him about, but when i realized the little smile fading on his face, i turned it around with the question and a smug look. Then he got shy and only pointed to BD and himself barely whispering 'me'.
it was adorable regardless and it really made my day.
