Anyone else something wring with this plan?
My BIL invited SS over to his house for dinner and to stay the night. This Friday. He invited all of my DH's family and shocker, we got invited too. He told us SS does not know we are coming but he thinks this will be a great opportunity for them to talk it out. Can anyone else see this becoming a f****** DISASTER? |Of course, if I do not go I will be the bitch who does not want her SS and her husband to reconcile. F*** me...

I want to stay home but my DH
I want to stay home but my DH wants to give it a try. You can smell his desperation from a mile away to get back in touch with SS. I think my BIL thinks that with all of us there, there will be a less chance of being a scene. But I am just picturing my MIL egging them both on and being entertained by it all. I really do not want to go. Cue the guilt trip from my husband in 5,4,3,..

Who in their right mind would think this is a good idea? Wow. Your DH is crazy and will probably lose his son permanently if he keeps doing stupid things like this. Have BL tell SS that DH was invited also. If he still comes, then great. Don’t just blind side the kid AGAIN.
