So, Dh came out on top with court last week. That was the first "win" for him since 2005, so we rode on that high for several days.

I wouldn't have expected another bit of good news so soon, but SS called Sunday night & informed us that his minor live-in gf left with her mom for a Dr appointment Friday morning & she hasn't been back. He hasn't seen or heard anything from her since. Woohoo!

And just yesterday, DH received his copy of the new CS order in the mail (which means BM likely got hers & we will be hearing from SS about it). In DH's last order it said he had to appear before the judge to have changed. Well, with BM's failure to appear, there were no such requests. In DH's order it states:

"Total $188.92 per month payable, first payment due on the 1st day of Feb, 2012, and each subsequent payment is due on the 1st day of each month thereafter. Payments may be made in intervals of $43.60, per week, beginning on 02/01/2012.

Child support shall terminate on a child's eighteenth birthday; however, support shall continue for any child who is over the age of eighteen and (i) a full-time high school student, (ii) not self-supporting and (iii) living in the home of the parent receiving child support, until the child reaches the age of nineteen or graduates from high school, whichever occurs first."

So, regardless, DH won't have to pay on SD beyond 19 years old, & it will only carry out that long if she's IN SCHOOL FULL-TIME.

SUCK IT BM!!!

I was so excited about it, I brought the paperwork to work with me this morning so I can read it over & over.
