... right now, to finalize the divorce!
Please, please let this go well. I don't get to see my SO tonight since he's going out with a friend for some well-deserved fun. But my heart is in my throat. I'm so worried that the judge will decide that SO and BM's agreement isn't good enough and start changing things... or that BM will surprise him and not go along with what they agreed to do... or that some piece of forgotten paperwork will get requested and they have to delay everything.
I just hope that by the end of the day my sweetheart isn't married anymore, and that he's okay.
Gulp.

Eh, I don't have a problem with him going out - it's to do something special that he wouldn't normally get to do. We'll get together on Friday and have our own fun.
Court sucks
Court sucks. I went through that with DH. His ex wife tried to take full custody and lucky for us, the GAL (guardian ad leitum?) saw through her bullshit and told the judge we were good parents. I wish you luck and hope things go quickly, if not smoothly. The court system for divorce and child custody is so broken. I feel for all the kids and good dads that get chewed up and spit out by it.
