Children complaining I am mean to them, when I get upset they don’t do their chores. Father not sticking up for me
I have been with my kids father for over 8 years. The kids were never a problem. We had 50/50 custody and got a long with the mother. Now all of a sudden the so stopped coming over to our home, and says he doesn't like when I get on them about laundry or chores. Struggling hard because the father is not a disciplinarian, and I believe the kids need to help out. They have one small chore a day, and a couple others on the weekend. Am I in the wrong for being upset about this. It is literally ruining my relationship, because the father isn't standing by me. He says he's just trying to make his kids happy. The mother is a nightmare now as well, as I feel she is enjoying that the kids aren't coming over any more

what a crap father...what a
what a crap father...what a crap partner to you.
doing a few chores? doesn't your SO think that it might be important for his kids to learn to be responsible human beings? Why on earth is he allowing his kid to not come over for his custody time? it is not the kid's choice.
Did Dad agree to chore assignments?
Or did you issue an edict. What are the chores?
Your husband is the problem.
Your husband is the problem. Period.
He is a Disney Dad who wants his poor traumatized-by-divorce little darlings to just have fun! If HE won't discipline or hand out chores, you most certainly do NOT. Not your circus, not your monkeys.
So. Let your Disney Dad husband handle EVERYTHING. Which means if he doesn't want his precious poopsies to do chores, then HE CLEANS UP AFTER THEM. Not you.
