Different moods each visit
Just wondered if anyone else experiences different moods when step child stays. He goes from being unbelievably clingy and babyish to coming and practically ignoring us! I undertsand that even kids sometimes get into moods like us adults, but I absolutely hate the fact that we never know what we are going to get with him.
Does anyone else get this also?

My SS used to be in different
My SS used to be in different moods when he came over. It seemed to be related to where he was in his enmeshed relationship with BM. If he was mad at her, he'd be happy to be here and wanting to stay longer; if they were lovey-dovey, he'd be distant and texting her all weekend.

This makes a lot of sense, as the exact sam thing happens in our home too. Sometimes he doesnt want to go home and wont leave our sides, wants cuddling all the time etc and wants to stay longer. The last two visits he has barely even spoken to us. Definitely a reflection of what goes on at home I think, it's good to know that it isnt just us it happens to!
