OT - Want Opinion
Okay this is totally off topic, but I don't want to post on any of my local FB pages looking for advice and someone steal my idea. LOL
But would you be willing to pay someone local for individually wrapped specialty chocolate covered pretzels whether it be the traditional pretzel or rods? Where I live we have a few bakeries, but none of them do like holiday cookie trays or anything like that. To me that is a shame because I would of loved to get a cookie tray or chocolate covered pretzel basket to give the front office of DD's daycare. We are doing a cute little bag with coffee giftcards for the women in DD's room, but there isn't anything local to give the front office to be shared. My mom suggested cookies, but where she lives there are a TON of bakeries and can get platters of italian cookies in a heart beat. I have done aesthetic and tasty chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels in the past, but I don't want to sell strawberries and I don't want to try and take up cookie making, BUT I feel like the pretzels are simple and inexpensive. Just don't want to invest time, energy, and money on trials, etc. if you don't think you would purchase these or that others wouldn't. Just in quick research I saw people do it for baby showers, bridal showers, etc. there are more than just Christmas times people purchase these.

I love anything chocolate and
I love anything chocolate and pretzels. Sweet and salty. Those little reindeer m&m with pretzels and Hershey's kisses are super cute and tasty. I also love the traditional chocolate covered pretzels.
I think the chocolate covered pretzels would probably do well as they are a bit different from what is usually found to purchase (cookies fruit arrangements etc). You could do a variety, white chocolate drizzled ones etc.
People sell things like that on Nextdoor all the time.
People sell things like that on our local Nextdoor all the time. You might check your Nextdoor and see what is already being sold. You might also check your local and state laws about selling food. I think it sounds like a great idea and would fill a niche.
