SD moving to BMs, not sure how I feel...

SD stb19 informed us yesterday that she is dropping out of school and her ambition is to work her crappy part-time job & hope to get full time eventually. When she was told she needed a full time job, pay rent (minimal) & be ready to be on her own in a year, she freaked. Her entitled ass feels "parents help their children" be slackers ...enter BM.

She called her mom who promised the world, driver's license, money for school if & when she wants to attned, free job free summer... so of course, SD is moving to BMs in a month. Never mind that BM has yet to live up to a promise since this kid was 3...

DH & I have had custody since she was 10 & did most of the work before then. I'm feeling a bit used and unappreciated though she's already been told the door only swings one way. I fully expect to laugh my ass off in 6 months.

Count your blessings. I instead of moving out a year from now, she is moving out now. Jump up for joy and have a nice dinner with your hubby the day she gets out.

SO has 3 kids, one of which is going to be a sophomore in high school. SO has ZERO money saved for any skids education even though he makes a very good salary.
I asked if SD14 was going to be taking out student loans, then, and SO says "Oh no, I wouldn't want to burden her with student loans." :jawdrop:

So I guess the college education fairy aka ME, was just going to help out with that just out of the goodness of my heart. I think not!

This is the stuff that makes me want to smack him. I can't stand watching him turn his kids into entitled, spoiled brats.
