For some reason, SD has it worked it her greedy brain that when FDH and I get married she's getting a pile of gifts. Um, no...the pile of gifts is for the bride and groom meaning your father and I. This kid never stops thinking about herself.

So does that mean when she gets married you and your DH get a pile of gifts?

Haha I wish I would've been witty enough to ask lol I'm always so taken aback by her me,me,me-ness. I've never had a personal experience with a child like this before. Everything is made to be about her, in her eyes anyway.

I think six yo's should have at least some idea of sharing and compassion. This kid seems to have none. You could read my other blog posts to get the gist.

Just maybe some other adult aka BM put it in her head that at weddings the kids get gifts. Or maybe someone hinted as such to her.

I think she should get a little gift. Dustpan and broom. Her own swifter. Kitchen towels?
