SD21 finally "remembers" BD8's birthday?

Text on DH's phone from SD21 asking if she missed BD8's birthday. Um, yes, it was nearly two months ago. Sheesh.

You are expecting too much. I used to do the same thing. Now, with family, I go into not expecting a lot. And I don't get the let down.

My bios were at their father's when DD1 had her first bday. My youngest son, age 10 actually called her to wish her a happy birthday. The three others hopped on the phone to "talk" to her or sing.

... What a surprise. SS14 woke up here at our house on her bday and had no idea what a special day it was -even with me and DH singing to her in the morning with her special donut.
