Wits End
Some things are getting very old in this household...
Picky eating.... when I would to try to make something different the little comments start "you can make that when we are at my grandma's or I don't like that. I grew up in a household where we ate what we had on our plate or we could go to bed starving. Pretty much anything I make in general someone doesn't like it.
Laundry... I have to do laundry while I'm at work.. then have to come home and do laundry in my home. Over the weekend I was told that it's my job. I was pretty torqued off with this comment from the 10 year old daughter.I will be more than happy to go out and buy them a laundry basket for their room so they can do their own.
The oldest thing in this household is for my boyfriend to get on the same page with me... I am sick of complaining about the same thing over and over and not getting the back up that I need with things. I did not sign up to play mommy/wife and only having the obligation of being his girlfriend.

Oh because he's a guy with
Oh because he's a guy with the mentality of "the little women does the house work". I'm on strike - sick of doing things for the ungrateful brats
I only do SKids laundry if it
I only do SKids laundry if it is next to the washer. They have to take it out of the dryer, fold it and put it away.
We fight about dinner too, but they don't have a choice to not eat. Two weeks ago SS complained about a great meal that he's loved before. He had to eat every bite and towards the end was standing and eating because I was sick of his shit. And he didn't get to take any Halloween candy home to BM's house because of his behavior.
SD has learned if she doesn't like something to just shut up and eat it. She is gonna have to anyway and this way she still gets a dessert afterwards. You complain, I get pissed = no dessert.
This stuff drives me nuts
This stuff drives me nuts too. When I was growing up, we ate what was on our plates, we did our chores and we didn't complain about it.
Now these poor little helpless CODs can't do anything for themselves and get whatever they want.
I stopped cooking for SD when she said, "Teas83, did you know that Mommy makes me whatever I want for supper if I don't like what she made the first time? (Pause) I don't like this supper by the way."
My husband's endless excuses are ridiculous too. She can't do XYZ because it's hard, etc.
Lol at "laundry for
Lol at "laundry for skids?"
My husband does SD's laundry sometimes too. I don't do it at all.
What is the trick to getting
What is the trick to getting the hubby/boyfriend to help with laundry.. I have tried countless times when I work every other weekend and there it still sits.

He would be a guy without a girl in my world.
My DH does laundry because he knows I hate it and he loves me. Don't get me wrong, I do it sometimes but he has no problem doing it. He does most of the cooking, too. Again because he knows I don't really like it. And he is very appreciative when I do cook.
I am just not interested in a partnership that is not a partnership. We both work, we both take care of things at home.
So, stop doing their laundry.
