I always use the official
I always use the official ticket seller - usually ticketmaster. Create an account so all you have to do is log in. Log in and about a minute before the tickets go on sale start clicking to buy tickets. Once you go to the next page I usually go with "best available." It is the quickest. However, I don't consider anything past the 10th row on the floor good - and the system considers anything on the floor better than anything a few rows up.
Once you have the seats you have a set amount of time to complete the sale - if you are are already registered you will have no problem.
On big caveat that may hold true for Shania. Usually one or two dates are announced. As you are waiting for your request to go through, other dates may go on sale. So - you may end up with lousy tickets and someone getting through after you will get better seats for another date. I got lucky trying to get Garth Brooks tickets - while waiting to get through I went to another screen and found another date and got through there. It might be worth it to watch the sales for cities before yours and see if she adds more dates. Garth started with 2 here and ended up with 8.
I have never bought tickets through stubhub or a private seller. I worry that they might not be legit. If you can't get any through the main seller that would be the only way to go.
Good luck with getting tickets!
I agree with notsurehowtodeal
I agree with notsurehowtodeal with the exception of when to get online - get online well before the time the tickets go on sale. Make sure you are logged in already. And if you want Upper Bowl (cause they're cheaper), select those first. Everyone else will be clicking "Best Available".
I just got screwed out of tickets for Shania Twain at our local concert hall. I was trying to get them for my daughter. She wanted Upper Bowl. I clicked on Best available and got floor tickets. I went back, clicked Upper Bowl, and got great seats. I released the floor seats, and tried to check out with my Upper Bowl seats. I hadn't timed out yet, but the place was so flooded with people by then, I got stuck in a queue and timed out. I lost my great seats, and the concert sold out. Moral of the story - if you get great seats, check out with them right away. Don't go back. Also, if you're not fussy, pick the Upper Bowl - you will have a better chance of getting any tickets.
Good luck - I hope you get some!
