plans ruined

So I was excited on having a night out to relax have some drinks, maybe gamble a little at the casino to celebrate BF moms bday. Course that is not going to happen. They have the kid with them and no one to watch him because of course it would be impossible to have BM take him. SO what is the plan for the night? BBQ at his parents house. Same old thing as always.
Annoyed.

my family and I going through a rough time so I was really looking forward to going out =/ I can see things like this are going to be common in the future

It usually doesn't get any better, unless you put of foot down right now. If you don't/can't, things do tend to get worse and alone time will be a mirage. Sad

Ugh. Any way you could still go? I mean sounds like there are plenty of people to hang with the skid.

For DH and I we only have SD8 50/50 so we never have a babysitter when she's with us. We plan our social time for when she's with BM.

Of course that also means that 50% of the time we are completely on our own with no SK so we have a break. How much time off do you get from BFs son?

50/50 is good, we have him all the time. He goes with BM like once a week at most! Its fine I need to get used to it guess but we need to have quality alone time also for ourselves and our relationship. She can't even pick him from his house either, its either BF takes him to her or they meet half way which is really not half way its more like 5 min from her house and 30 from his
