A Friend Request from Bio-Mom and the Motive Behind It.

This is Rich.

To give a bit of background. SS14 lives with his dad and I full time. Mother is nearly completely out of the picture. She lives over 1000 miles away. Rarely calls SS14. When she sends cards or packages they are usually a full month late for specific dates. She is bi-polar and a narcissist. The past two and half years she has been shacked up with a registered sex offender (pedofile).

We are NOT facebook friends. In the past, I was, to allow her to comment on stuff we were doing with SS14; but after she threw an immature fit over our taking legal action to make sure that her sex offender boyfriend was never in contact with our son, she "unfriended" us as punishment. Since then she has tried to request access a couple times...Each has been met with denial, as I don't need the drama.

The most recent time was last week...I wondered why.

Found out today. Her birthday was this weekend. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. She wanted to make sure we knew it was her birthday! So we would make sure that we made SS14 call her.

Nope. Nuh Huh. Here's the sitch. If she is only gonna call him once every 4 to 6 months...I am not going to force him to keep up with her important dates. If he asks, I will answer. Otherwise. Nope.

she "unfriended" us as punishment - BAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAAAA!!!! wtf is she like 12?

that's hilarious. MOTY wants to be recognized on her birthday, but she cant even keep up w/ her own son long-distance.

This woman, seriously, never ceases to amaze me with the stuff she pulls. It hurts my heart for SS14, but then I remember, he has an awesome Mom...who spent last night watching Pee Wee's Big Adventure with him because we needed silliness. Biggrin

I agree with everyone, block her. What did he do that he's a registered sex offender? Have sex with a 17 year old when 19 or something serious? I'm just curious, because that follows for life & maybe it was just someone's angry parent? ETA: If BM tried to friend me, I'd never go on Facebook again. I'd be so done. It's not going to happen though.

I block everyone. She'd have been long since blocked by me.

Come to think of it, our BM *was* long since blocked by me! LOL }:)

BM sent me a friend request when she was new on FB. I doubt if she really wanted to be my friend. I know what it is like when one is new to FB and not real familiar with stuff.

I ignored it for a long time, but accidentally accepted it one day. I immediately unfriended her.

Now a few years later I wished I'd sent her the following message:

BM - No I do not want to be your friend. We have nothing in common. You conceived both of your children out of wedlock, you cheated on your SH and now you are a "holier than thou" ahole. Why would I possible want you as a friend?

Jesus may have forgiven you your MANY sins - but I am not Jesus. Go eff yourself.

If you don't want to block her but don't want to see a request all the time, just don't accept or deny the friend request. They cannot send another one if that one is still open. Wink
