Dear Valued Users,
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.
This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.
We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.
Thank you for being a part of our journey and we wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Dawn and The StepTalk Team
Hmm.. Sometimes I can edit,
Hmm.. Sometimes I can edit, other times I cannot. Is there a time frame from where one could edit their posts? If so, can we have it extended?
lol, I appreciate the heads
lol, I appreciate the heads up. You passed the first round by spelling grammar correctly
I'll behave. I am not one to bitch and moan about other's errors in their posts. I keep that to myself. I feel that writing correctly shows intelligence and pride amongst other things. WhEn PeEpS RiTe LiKe ThIs, i WaNt To PuNcH ThEm In ThE TrAcHeA!
What really bugs me is the wall of text. If someone is asking for advice, make it legible and coherent.
There is some kind of limit
There is some kind of limit but I'm not sure what it is.
I don't think it's simply time, it might also depend on the number of times edited or whether or not someone has replied.
I've noticed that it doesn't appear to be consistent but I haven't taken the time to figure out what the rules are.
If you are the original
If you are the original blogger you can always edit your post.
If you are responding you can edit until someone replies directly to your comment.
Once someone replies directly to your comment I have not found a way to edit.
Best regards.
If you are the original
If you are the original blogger you can always edit your post.
It is impossible that you
It is impossible that you can't edit your blog post or may be sometime blogger sever doesn't work properly then this kind of thing happen but if you have blogger user name and password then definitely you edit your post and update of course.
