what happens if ex does not pay child support ?

question: the court established child support after a lot of court time, lawyers ,etc. she started paying becasue the agency took it out of hte paychecks and then 6 months into it, she stopped working (at least over the table), and the agency took the child support out of the unemployment... and now she simply stopped paying all together, just liek that. what can we do? we are in washington state, do you know what happens to parents who dont pay the estacblished child support in this state?

My ex went to jail for a week. He claimed that he liked it.
They let him out and that was pretty much it. They won't keep him in jail indefinitely, they need the space for murderers-and if he is like my ex where there are no wages to deduct from, no property to seize, and if he doesn't care if he has a liscence or not-then you are out of luck.
In my state, you have to file
In my state, you have to file with Child Support Enforcement. They don't go after them for you unless you start the process. It is real easy to google child support enforcement for your state. You should be able to find everything you need online.
