...marriage #4! Poor SD12 is starved for attention. I don't give her much attention, but I'm feeling bad so I've been trying to involve her more. This is just weekend #1 so we'll see how long it lasts.
Keep your head up girl. Give the girl as much attention as she deserves. If she is behaving, treat her nice. If she is unappreciative, let her know that because of that you will not be doing nice things for her. Let us know how it all goes!
SD's attitude has been so much worse this school year. I have no idea if it's all related, her age, both? As if it could get any worse. UGH. it has. She is staying with us for a week and a half while her mom is on vacation in mid October. How am I going to deal? Really.
Maybe try to get her involved in some holiday related activities(do crafts for Halloween to decorate the house with or stuff for Christmas) This will make her proud to display things and happy when she sees them hanging up and remember doing the craft with you. I loved crafts even when I was 12 12 is starting to get into those teen years so beware! Just walk away if she gets too much for you. Take a break in your room, listen to music, write your thoughts-whatever keeps you sane and able to deal. Keep us posted

It's not that I have a problem with multiple marriages, but she is very young - but older than me ;). Does she have to marry every guy she dates??
