Emergency!
I confiscated my SD11 phone. I saw multiple texts that stated that she is miserable and will kill herself. One that states if she doesn't find a boyfriend that loves her, she will kill herself. DH doesn't think this is a problem. I told him if he allows her to go to BM's house until she gets help , I'm leaving for good. He said "every teenager does this". In the meantime, BM says all kinds of crap in texts including that I don't get her anything she cares about (when Ss11 said she asked me for the newest iPhone). DH is way out of the loop and says he will address things with SS11??? Really? What about taking custody and calling CPS?! I'm sorry, but I knew all along this wasa troubled child, and now that I have proof, he wants me to keep quiet???

I don't know if CPS will take me seriously ! They investigate until kingdom comes and never make a move! I told him that if he doesn't take custody, then I WILL, and he said I have another thing coming! This is awful !

Don't call CPS take her to the hospital. I commented on your 911 post about that. If you cant due to being her step parent I would call police they will emergency detention her. I don't know where you live but here they do ED's all the time on stuff like this. Just keep the texts so she cant deny them. The officer has to have something to go on or the kid or person can just talk their way out of it.

Her parents will claim she is just joking. Wow. How can a marriage to to pot that fast? I just can't have my bios part of this. Now I'm scared for the little kids, what if she sets fire to the house or worse?

Did she mention starting fires? If she did then I would call. The worse they are going to say is no we cant commit her but at least you did your part. If your scared for you children and have somewhere else to go, I would leave.

Are you calling her in? Or just leaving? Either way if you leave I don't blame you but still consider calling it in. Who cares what her parents think. This is a child and she is disturbed and from what you said on your other post about this issue I am sure it dates back to the molestation.
Poor kid has probably been
Poor kid has probably been waiting for someone to care enough to help her. Even if she is saying that she is joking..its a cry out for help. I wish you would call for her on your way out while your leaving. You might be this poor girls saving grace in that part.
