Ha! No gifts for me. They expect gifts from me. If I got gifts from skids I would know they were smoking crack!

Bet they don't sell many of those! If I got one of those "from SheSloth"...I would have to look at DH and say, "Nice try, honey! Ain't buying it!"

However, I have confirmed that the extra money I've been seeing in my paycheck was a merit raise, and not some sort of shift thing for working a couple of weekends, so I should start thinking about a nice little gift for myself...for putting up with the bullshit!

I would totally get something like that for my SM- but she is awesome.

I know there are some posters who have gotten involved with BD when the skid was a baby- but goodness. That is just way too soon IMHO.

DH bought me a gift. Wrapped it. Bought a card. Then had skids give it to me like it was from them. Only it was so fake and by the look on SD's face, you could tell they had no idea about any of it. It was a pair of earrings and I think SD wanted them. Had a talk with DH afterwords. I don't want a gift from someone if it isn't really from them and because they care. I don't need fake presents.

The only present I want from skids is for them to age out.

I guess I'm lucky my Skids are still young. They go with dad every year and pick out gifts for my b day and x mas. They make me cards for valentines and mothers day. SS is always trying to share candy and other stuff I don't really want. They are pretty sweet kids.

Anyone else noticed they only had Air Force Step Mom mugs? Such bias }:)

DH once took BS9 to get me a bday gift. BS9 had saw it when he was with his dad and asked DH to take him so I would be surprised. dPPP went with them. I guess she was confused. BS9 gave me a necklace, and I was wearing it when she came back over and she threw a tantrum, ripped it from my neck snapping the chain saying I stole it from her because daddy had bought it for her. That caused me to get pissed, BS9 to get pissed, and everyone else in the house rolling their eyes at yet another dPPP gimme gimme gimmme tantrum. Sigh.

I got my own SM a "wicked SM" shirt a couple years ago. She about died laughing!

Gifts to me from my skid? Never happened. Never will.

The infant onesie put it over the top for me - couldn't look at anymore... OH MY. I don't get and gifts from Mini-Seahag - which is FINE by me, considering the only thing her mom has "helped" her get for SO is a free phone case for an IPA he doesn't drink, but I DO...so I got a new phone case }:) However, she and the Grand High Seahag expect that I supplement SO's presents for her so that she gets twice as many as before. Ah - no. I used to go all out - then realized that I was being a chump, and that stopped. If SO wants to spoil, that'll be on him and his finances...not mine. It's a shame for her though, he's terrible with money-management, I am the one who makes sure things get done.
